JUVENTUS: THE 2021/22 AWAY JERSEY IS HERE

Published on: 23 July 2021

Once again, it is a uniform that has a great story to tell… It is inspired by Turin, and by a very particular and specific aspect of it: the nightlife, and in particular, the Turin electronic music scene and its influence on the city’s youth.

Turin has a very strong tradition in this field, and adidas and Juventus have decided to celebrate it by way of the Away kit 2021/2022. The new jersey combines a classic black base with linear chromatic accents integrated into the fabric that represents the lights of the sparkling clubs and festivals, with a nod, of course, to the iconic colours of Juventus' uniforms.

The three orange and pink stripes on the shoulders create an iridescent effect, making it the first time that Adidas has used this technology on a football jersey.

The new jersey is also made with PRIMEGREEN, a series of high-performance recycled materials, which places sustainability at the heart of innovation. The new HEAT.RDY - KEEP COOL technology is designed to keep players cool and dry throughout the game by optimising thermoregulation. The replica jersey offers similar benefits thanks to the AEROREADY - FEEL READY technology, which wicks moisture to ensure exceptional freshness and comfort.

To celebrate the launch, adidas and Juventus made a film in collaboration with the C2C Festival of Turin (formerly known as “Club To Club”), one of the most important avant-pop music events in the world. With the tale of Carlo Pastore and Lil C, and the soundtrack of Koreless, the film presents some of the most exciting musical talents of the Italian and British scene, such as the collective Gang Of Ducks, Koreless, Mana, Romy, Sara Berts and spime.im, all while previewing an event set to be held in March 2022 in honour of the jersey.

Juventus First Team will debut the new jersey in tomorrow’s friendly against Cesena, set for 18:00 CEST at the Juventus Training Center.

The Away kit can be purchased from today at Juventus online and physical stores.
