Juventus step up bid to sign Ghana defender Baba Rahman
Baba Abdul Rahman is wanted by several clubs in Europe

Juventus have stepped up their interest in Ghana defender Baba Abdul Rahman.

The Italian champions see the 20-year-old as the long-term replacement for the ageing Patrice Evra.

Juventus now want to use their relationship with their former player Stefan Reuter who is now the General Manager of Augsburg to lure the Ghanaian to Turin.

Augsburg are set to make a huge profit of the Ghanaian they signed last year from Greuther Furth for 2.5m EUR.

Manchester City and Real Madrid have also shown interest in the former Ghana U20 stars.
