Southampton manager Ivan Juric has praised striker Paul Onuachu's recent form, saying the Nigerian is "tough" and "training at the maximum" after ending his Premier League goal drought, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Onuachu scored his first top-flight goal in Southampton's 3-2 defeat at Nottingham Forest last weekend, and Juric believes the striker is now in buoyant mood.
"He has had a good week with confidence [after scoring]," Juric said in a press conference. "I like him because he's tough and training at the maximum."
Southampton, who currently sit at the bottom of the Premier League table, face Newcastle United in their next match, and Juric will be hoping Onuachu can continue his resurgence to help the Saints climb out of the relegation zone.
