Real Madrid head coach Jose Mourinho says 19-year-old winger Yan Diomande would be playing 90 minutes in every match if he were at another club.
Diomande has started only one game since joining Real Madrid, and is reportedly unhappy with the amount of playing time he has received.
“Diomande would play 90 minutes in every match at another club,” Mourinho said.
Real Madrid signed the Ivory Coast international from RB Leipzig during the summer transfer window for 125 million euros. He has made six appearances for the Spanish club in all competitions but has yet to record a goal or an assist.
Diomande’s current contract with Real Madrid runs until June 2033.
