England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford has admitted an offence of dangerous driving after failing to give way while driving a Lamborghini on 14 April.
The incident created a hazardous situation on the road, with two cars forced to brake sharply. Pickford then drove away at high speed and disappeared from view.
According to the Mirror, Pickford submitted a written admission of guilt in response to the charge. He also indicated that he wants to attend court to present circumstances in his defence.
The hearing has been adjourned until 7 December.
