Jonathan Mensah expects new coach Avram Graant to bring new ideas to steer the Black Stars to victory ahead of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.
Mensah, who plays for French side Evian, says the team require fresh ideas and the winning mentality to end the country’s long wait for an African crown.
He believes Grant, who has coached a top notch team like Chelsea possesses the qualities to bring freshness into the team.
He said: “Black Stars have learnt many things from other coaches so we are expecting that he (Grant) introduces new ideas on the table.”
“He has coached topnotch clubs in the Barclays Premier League so he is a good coach and we know he will introduce us to new football ideas.”
Ghana must fend off competition from Senegal, Algeria and South Africa to progress from group C.
