Inter defender John Stones has suffered a muscle strain, according to Italian football insider Gianluca Di Marzio.
The extent of the England international’s problem is expected to become clearer over the next few days.
Stones, 32, joined the Milan club as a free agent last summer and signed a two-year contract with the Nerazzurri.
He has made three appearances for Inter in Serie A this season, without scoring or providing an assist.
