Barcelona president Joan Laporta has reconciled with Atletico Madrid chief executive Miguel Angel Gil Marin after their relationship deteriorated during the summer over the Catalan club’s interest in striker Julian Alvarez.
Barcelona stopped pursuing a deal for the Argentina international once the transfer window closed.
Laporta also met UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin and European Football Clubs (EFC) chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi in Copenhagen, where the organisation’s General Assembly is taking place.
It was Laporta’s first attendance at the EFC assembly since Barcelona returned to the organisation with full membership rights.
