Jeffrey Schlupp and his Leicester City side will be playing Premier League football next season after they secured a 0-0 draw at Sunderland on a tense afternoon at the Stadium of Light.

The result caps an amazing escape for Leicester, who have been bottom of the standings for much of the campaign but survive with a game to spare after a embarking on a superb run of form.

Leicester won six of their last eight games and Schlupp’s three goals in 31 appearances played a key role.

The Foxes spent nearly five months rooted to the bottom of the table.
