Former Liverpool player Jamie Carragher has criticised Florian Wirtz’s performances since the Germany midfielder joined the Premier League club, saying: “We cannot wait.”
The 23-year-old has been with Liverpool since the summer of 2025 and has made 56 appearances for the Merseyside club in all competitions.
Wirtz, who represents Germany internationally, has scored seven goals and provided 11 assists during his time with the Reds.
Liverpool paid Bayer Leverkusen about 125 million euros for the midfielder a year ago.
