Iwobi Ruled Out of Fulham Clash Against Arsenal

Fulham F.C. manager Marco Silva has confirmed that Alex Iwobi will miss the club’s upcoming Premier League fixture against Arsenal F.C., Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Whites are set to travel to the Emirates Stadium on Saturday without the Nigeria international, who is still recovering from a hamstring injury sustained in their goalless draw against Brentford F.C. two weeks ago.

Iwobi was also absent from Fulham’s 1-0 victory over Burnley F.C. last weekend, and Silva has now confirmed that the midfielder will not be fit in time to face Mikel Arteta’s side.

“Alex [Iwobi] is out still, plus Kevin. Kenny [Tete], we will have to see how he reacts from the last two sessions. He can probably be involved in the game,” Silva told the club’s official website.

“We have some doubts on some players, but we will assess them tomorrow to see how they react from things that happened in the week.”

Iwobi’s absence represents a setback for Fulham as they prepare for a tough test against Arsenal, with the midfielder having played a key role in the team’s campaign this season.
