Serie A TIM Champions Juventus will face the Coppa Italia Finalist 2017/2018 A.C. Milan in the 31st edition of the Supercoppa Italiana at “King Abdullah Sports City Stadium” in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), on Wednesday 16th January 2019 at 8.30 pm local time.
1) MATCH REGULATIONS
If the match is drawn after 90 minutes, an extra 30 minutes shall be played (15 minutes shall be played in each half).
If the score is still level at the end of extra time, the winner shall be determined by the taking of kicks from the penalty mark in accordance with the procedure adopted by the “Regolamento del Giuoco del Calcio”.
2) SUBSTITUTIONS
Each Club must provide to the referee a list of maximum 23 eligible players taking part in the game.
Clubs may at their discretion use three substitutions at any time during the match. In the event that extra time is played, a Club may at its discretion use one additional substitution during such period of extra time.
3) ORGANIZATION
Supercoppa Italiana 2018/2019 is entirely organized by Lega Nazionale Professionisti Serie A.
4) TV
The match will be broadcast live on RAIUNO (Italian territory).
5) OFFICIAL BALL
The official ball NIKE MERLIN HI-VIS will be used for Supercoppa Italiana 2018/2019.
6) AWARDS
The winning team will receive:
• A silver reproduction of the “Supercoppa Italiana” and, in custody for the sporting season 2018/2019, the original "Supercoppa Italiana" trophy;
• 30 gold medals provided for the players and coaches.
The other team will receive:
• 30 silver medals provided for the players and coaches.
7) PROCEDURAL MOTIONS
Goal Line Technology (GLT) and Video Assistant Referees (VARs) systems will be used during the match.
Due to a decision of the Federal Council of National Association of the 30th April 2014, notwithstanding article 66, comma 1, of the NOIF, the presence on the field bench of additional manager for each Club is allowed.
For any other subject not provided in this release, it must be applied to the NOIF, the Sport Disciplinary Code and the Regulation of Lega Nazionale Professionisti Serie A.
