Ismael Saibari scored his first goal for Bayern Munich as Vincent Kompany’s side swept aside Union Berlin 7-0 at home on Friday, with Michael Olise claiming a hat-trick and Harry Kane reaching 100 Bundesliga goals.

Bayern took control after 18 minutes when Alphonso Davies won possession and found Jamal Musiala on the edge of the penalty area. Musiala guided the ball into the far corner to register his first goal of the season.

Olise then sent Luis Diaz through on goal 10 minutes later. The Colombia international found the net, but the assistant referee intervened.

Union’s resistance ended decisively in the 38th minute. Olise moved into the penalty area and was brought down by Felix Uduokhai, giving Kane the chance to take the resulting penalty.

The England captain made no mistake, driving the ball into the net to score his 100th Bundesliga goal in his 98th appearance in the competition.

Bayern added another goal less than three minutes later. The ball reached Olise on the edge of the area and the France international produced an unstoppable finish into the far corner. The strike had an expected-goals value of only 0.03.

Kane doubled his own tally shortly after half-time, meeting Olise’s cross from five metres with a powerful header. The goal took his Bundesliga total to 101, while Olise had now contributed to every Bayern goal.

Saibari entered the match in the 63rd minute, replacing Diaz. Seven minutes later, the former PSV player collected a pass from Davies, turned away from his marker and used his physical strength to create space before firing into the far corner.

It was the Morocco international’s first goal since joining Bayern and completed an important personal milestone on an already dominant evening for the hosts.

Bayern quickly extended their advantage again. Two minutes after Saibari’s goal, young midfielder Tom Bischof played a long pass towards Olise. The Frenchman controlled the ball, rounded the goalkeeper and struck the post before his effort crossed the line to make it 6-0.

Olise completed his hat-trick in the 75th minute with another trademark long-range effort. Receiving the ball around 25 metres from goal, he lifted a powerful shot beneath the crossbar.

Union Berlin were unable to mount any response as Bayern maintained complete control and finished with a 7-0 victory. Olise was the outstanding performer, while Saibari also enjoyed a memorable night after opening his Bayern account.
