Nigeria Super Falcons Coach, Randy Waldrum has reacted to the four nil thrashing suffered in the hands of the USA women's team on Sunday.
The Falcons had lost in the first leg of the international friend in the USA and the team's coach has stated that his team will focus more on the performance rather than the result.
Waldrum said this while speaking with the team's media officer as they prepare for Tuesday's game.
"You know anytime you play the best in the world you know you are going to have challenges and certainly they created a lot of challenges for us.
But I think for our plan moving forward everything we do is in preparation for the world cup. So, I think we look less at result but more on performance and how we play."
Waldrum and her ladies will play the second leg of the encounter in Washington DC on Tuesday.
The triumph was the second for the Americans over Nigeria under the watch of American tactician Waldrum after a 2-0 defeat during the US Summer Series in June 2022.
