"?Despite neither club making any sort of announcement, Javier Zanetti has congratulated Inter on signing Sevilla midfielder Ever Banega on a free transfer, as reported by "?Goal.com.
The Argentine international has been linked with a move away from the Europa League winners, with Inter Milan one of the clubs spoken of in terms of his next destination within Europe.

Zanetti said: "We have done very well to sign a player like Ever on a free transfer. He has personality and character. Ever has played in some very heated surroundings and is the kind of player who is never afraid.
"He can play as an attacking midfielder, but can also play in a more withdrawn role, he is quite versatile. Ever is a very mature player and that is just what Inter need."
It is not the first time that the Nerazzurri have unofficially pressured the Spanish side into conceding defeat over the 27-year-old, with Inter boss Roberto Mancini saying:
"Banega is done? Well, it seems so. He has quality and character and will help the team", as "?CalcioMercato reported earlier this month.
The Serie A side have been courting Banega for some time, with Mancini admitting his admiration of the player "?last month:
"Banega is a Sevilla player so it would be premature to talk about him now. He's top quality, skilful and experienced and he plays for Argentina but he doesn't play for Inter.
"It's hard to say what sort of players we're looking for in the transfer market. It depends on how various situations develop in the summer. It's hard to assess now. What we need is to get players who can improve us where we are currently lacking. In attack? No."
It seems more than likely now that Banega will sign on at the San Siro as a free agent, despite the lack of official reports coming from either side.
