Inter draw up transfer shortlist including Meret, Richards and Ndour

Inter’s new sporting director Dario Baccin has begun drawing up a shortlist of players the club could target in the next transfer windows, according to Quotidiano Sportivo.

Napoli goalkeeper Alex Meret is among the players being monitored by the Milan club. Inter are also interested in River Plate goalkeeper Santiago Beltran, who holds an Italian passport. His contract with the Argentine club runs until 31 December 2027.

The club are continuing to assess options in the Premier League as they consider defensive reinforcements. Crystal Palace defender Chris Richards, 26, is on Inter’s list, while Fulham’s Calvin Bassey is also being considered.

Bassey’s contract is due to expire next summer, a factor that could influence Inter’s interest in the Fulham defender.

In midfield and attack, Inter could compete with Juventus for a number of the same targets. One of those players is 22-year-old Fiorentina midfielder Cher Ndour, whose value is estimated at about 30 million euros.

Inter are also looking at 18-year-old Samuele Inacio of Borussia Dortmund as part of their plans for the squad’s future.
