Injury: France suffer setback ahead of Super Falcons' clash

France Women's interim coach Laurent Bonadé has confirmed that defenders Griedge Mbock and Élisa De Almeida will miss Saturday's international friendly against Nigeria's Super Falcons due to injury, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Bonadé expressed his disappointment at the duo's unavailability, stating that he had wanted them to be part of the team's preparations.

"I wanted them to be with us because they missed the first training camp and we are doing a lot of tactical work on the game systems that we want to put in place, in addition to creating a group," Bonadé said.

"We are laying the foundations of the project. I wanted them to be involved in it."

The friendly is fhe fourth ever meeting between both countries.

The encounter is scheduled for the Stade Raymond Kopa, Angers. It will kick off at 9.30 pm Nigeria time.
