Liberty professional midfielder Kennedy Ashia says he is delighted to have put one over Asante Kotoko after scoring in his sides 3-1 victory over the Champions.
Ashia has seen his form aid Liberty who were at a point in time bottom of the league log.
Their 3-1 victory over the weekend takes them to 4th on the league table with 30 points same as Wa All Stars and WAFA in second and third respectively but for goal difference.
Ashia who was the architect of the wins says it feels good to have registered one over the porcupine warriors.
“The most important thing is that the team was able to win and that is the most important thing,” Ashia said
“On a personal note is was very encouraging to score as I love to score from the middle.
“Kotoko is a good side and it takes good effort to win against them and I guess today we should we were the better side.”
