Real Madrid winger Yan Diomande became the youngest player in the 21st century to score and provide an assist for the club in a La Liga match during a 4-1 victory over Sevilla.
The 19-year-old Ivorian, aged 19 years and 338 days, created Arda Guler’s goal in the 30th minute before scoring himself in the 82nd minute.
According to Opta, Diomande surpassed the previous record held by Jude Bellingham, who achieved the feat for Real Madrid at the age of 20 years and 51 days.
Diomande joined Real Madrid from RB Leipzig last summer in a deal worth 125m euros, rising to 140m euros with bonuses.
The forward has now recorded two goals and three assists in 11 appearances for Jose Mourinho’s side in all competitions.
