Mane did not ask the club’s hierarchy to let him leave, according to the report. However, he would have welcomed the opportunity to take on a new challenge had a move been agreed.
The teenager has featured in six matches for Wolverhampton Wanderers this season across all competitions. He has yet to record a goal or assist in those appearances.
