USFA’s women’s team will face Edo Queens FC on Wednesday, 2 September 2026, with a place in the final of the UFOA-B qualifying tournament for the CAF Women’s Champions League at stake.
The semi-final will be played at the Stade du 4-Aout in Ouagadougou, with kick-off scheduled for 15:00 GMT. USFA will be looking to use home conditions and the attacking contributions of several key players to secure a place in the deciding match of the regional competition.
Among those expected to have an important role is captain Diewalea Sow. The Burkina Faso international operates at left-back and has already scored twice in the tournament. Her contribution gives USFA an additional threat from defence as the team prepares to face Edo Queens FC.
Sow’s leadership will be matched by the attacking threat of Deborah Guira, who has also found the net twice since the start of the competition. The Burkina Faso forward was named player of the match in USFA’s opening fixture, underlining her influence during the team’s campaign so far.

Charlotte Millogo is also among USFA’s scorers in the tournament. The captain of the Burkina Faso national team brings further leadership to the squad and completes a group of four players who have already registered goals during the qualifying campaign.
With Sow, Guira, Yeboah and Millogo all having scored, USFA will hope those attacking contributions can make the difference in Ouagadougou.
