Nigeria's Victor Osimhen was on target twice to lead Turkish Super Lig reigning champions, Galatasaray SK, to victory over FK Bodo/Glimt in the UEFA Champions League, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Super Eagles striker stood tall in the game as the red and gold side defeated the Norwegian club side 3-1 at the Ram Park Stadium on Wednesday night.

Osimhen, who was announced on Wednesday as one of the nominees for the 2025 CAF Award for the men's footballer of the year opened scored on 3 minutes.

Mario Lemina pressed and intercepted the ball, left it to Osimhen, who knocked it in with a sweet touch.

He doubled the score on 33 minutes to give the host a comfortable lead at the end of the first half.

Yunus Akgun scored the third to put Gala in good standing for victory on the one-hour mark.

Osimhen mounted pressure on Bodø/Glimt's defense, captured it, and served Yunus Akgün, who scored on his second shot attempt.

The visitors pulled one back after 76th minutes, but it only turned into a consolation as the encounter ended 3-1 as Gala earned consecutive victories in the Champions League since 2012.
