Trent Alexander-Arnold’s career at Real Madrid is reportedly struggling, with the England wing-back unable to establish himself as a regular starter.
In Real Madrid’s 4-1 victory over Sevilla, Jose Mourinho opted to use Uruguay international Federico Valverde on the flank of the defence instead of Alexander-Arnold.
According to Teamtalk, the situation could lead to Alexander-Arnold returning to Liverpool next year. The 28-year-old made his name at the club and established himself as one of the best right-backs in the world during his time with the Reds.
Alexander-Arnold’s contract at Real Madrid runs until 2031. His estimated transfer value is €60 million.
