Sevilla right-back Juan Iglesias said the officials were responsible for his side’s 4-1 La Liga defeat by Real Madrid.
Real Madrid led 2-0 at half-time and added two more goals after the interval. Sevilla scored their only goal of the match in the 80th minute.
“Everything was decided by the referees,” Iglesias said.
The main point of contention came in the 23rd minute, when Real Madrid midfielder Arda Guler caught Peque in the face with his elbow. The referee did not review the incident on the pitch and did not show the Turkey international a card.
Seven minutes later, Arda Guler scored Real Madrid’s opening goal.
