Sevilla manager Luis Garcia Plaza criticised the refereeing after his side were beaten 4-1 by Real Madrid in La Liga.
The main controversy came in the 23rd minute, when Real Madrid midfielder Arda Guler was alleged to have struck Peque in the face with his elbow.
Peque went to ground, but the referee chose not to review the incident on the video screen. Guler escaped a booking and shortly afterwards scored the opening goal of the match.
Garcia Plaza discussed the decision in an interview following the defeat, voicing his strong dissatisfaction with the officiating.
Real Madrid went on to win 4-1, leaving Sevilla to reflect on a match in which the disputed incident came before the visitors established control.
Real Madrid’s next meeting with Barcelona is scheduled for 25 October.
