Real Madrid are preparing to make a fresh enquiry about Juventus winger Kenan Yildiz, having previously considered a move for the Turkey international.
The Spanish club examined the possibility of signing Yildiz while Xabi Alonso was in charge, but no agreement was reached. Real Madrid’s priorities during the past summer were the renewal of Vinicius Junior’s contract and the signing of Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Real Madrid are now ready to revisit their interest in the 21-year-old forward. Yildiz has scored 27 goals in 132 appearances for Juventus and is regarded by the Italian club as one of their most valuable players.
Juventus have no desire to sell Yildiz, who is under contract until 2030 on lucrative terms. However, their position could be weakened if they fail to qualify for the UEFA Champions League this season.
A potential transfer would reportedly require a fee of at least €100m. Juventus’ financial circumstances and their European qualification prospects could therefore be significant factors in determining whether the club is able to retain the player.
Yildiz would also have another possible route back to Germany, with his former club Bayern Munich interested in bringing him back to Bavaria.
A move to Santiago Bernabeu would give Jose Mourinho further options in wide areas. Real Madrid’s existing alternatives include Yan Diomande, Vinicius, Rodrygo and Brahim Diaz, with Yildiz potentially adding another attacking option to that group.
