Published on: 28 October 2026

Paris will host Monaco on Sunday, 1 November, with kick-off scheduled for 19:15 Moscow time. The home side have been backed to win a match featuring more than 1.5 goals.

Paris go into the latest round of the French championship in sixth place, having collected 14 points from their opening eight matches. They have won four games, drawn two and lost two, with 13 goals scored and nine conceded for a goal difference of +4.

Their recent results have alternated between victory and defeat across their past four matches. Over their last 20 games overall, Paris have recorded nine wins, five draws and six defeats. That equates to a 45% win rate, with draws accounting for 25% of their results and losses for 30%.

The hosts have scored 13 times in eight league matches, averaging 1.63 goals per game. Their home advantage is expected to be an important factor as they seek to make the most of the support from the stands.

Monaco currently sit fourth, one place and one point above Paris, with 15 points from eight matches. The visitors have produced four wins, three draws and one defeat, while also posting a +4 goal difference. They have scored 11 goals and conceded seven.

Russia international Alexander Golovin has been among the notable performers for Monaco, who have also shown a strong record over a longer period. In their past 20 matches, Monaco have won 12, drawn four and lost four. Their results amount to a 60% victory rate, while draws and defeats have each made up 20%.

Monaco’s average of 1.38 goals per match in the French championship is lower than Paris’ 1.63, although the visitors are considered to have a powerful attack and enter the fixture in excellent form.

Both teams therefore arrive with positive scoring records and relatively similar defensive statistics after eight rounds. Paris have conceded nine goals, compared with Monaco’s seven, while the sides are separated by only one point in the table.

The match prediction favours Paris to claim victory at home, with the total number of goals expected to be more than 1.5.
