Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen continued his remarkable start to the Turkish Süper Lig season, scoring twice and providing an assist as Galatasaray cruised to a 4-0 away victory over Erzurumspor FK on Friday, NigeriaSoccernet.com reports.
The Nigeria international was involved in Galatasaray’s second goal in the 20th minute, breaking into space before picking out Yunus Akgün with a perfectly weighted pass. Akgün finished the opportunity to give the reigning champions a 2-0 lead after Roland Sallai’s opener.
Osimhen then capitalised on a defensive mistake shortly before half-time. A poor back-pass left goalkeeper Matija Orbani? exposed, allowing the 27-year-old forward to pounce and calmly roll the ball into an empty net.
The striker completed his brace in the 79th minute, meeting a cross and stabbing the ball home to round off another impressive individual display.

The brace means Osimhen has scored twice in each of his first two Süper Lig appearances this season, following his double in Galatasaray’s opening-day victory over Çorum FK.
He now has four league goals and one assist from two appearances, making him an early contender for the Turkish Süper Lig Golden Boot.
Osimhen will be looking to continue his goalscoring form when Galatasaray host Göztepe in their third league fixture of the season on Friday, August 29.
