Osimhen Registers Brace of Assists in Galatasaray’s 5–2 Win Over Juventus

Published on: 18 February 2026

Nigeria international Victor Osimhen delivered another influential display, providing two assists as Galatasaray S.K. recorded an emphatic 5–2 victory over Juventus F.C., Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Although Osimhen did not get on the scoresheet, the Super Eagles striker was pivotal in attack, playing decisive roles in Galatasaray’s fourth and fifth goals. His intelligent movement, physical presence, and creativity consistently unsettled his former Serie A rivals in a commanding team performance.

The brace of assists marked the second time in less than a week that Osimhen has achieved the feat — a significant milestone for the forward, who had never previously recorded two assists in a single professional match prior to this run.

Brazilian midfielder Gabriel Sara netted twice to lead the scoring, while Noa Lang, Davinson Sánchez, and Sacha Boey also found the net to complete Galatasaray’s five-star showing. Juventus responded through a brace from Teun Koopmeiners but struggled to cope with the hosts’ attacking intensity.

The visitors’ challenge was further complicated in the 67th minute when Juan Cabal received a second yellow card, reducing Juventus to ten men and effectively ending any realistic hopes of a comeback.

The result once again highlighted Galatasaray’s attacking depth and underlined Osimhen’s growing influence beyond goalscoring, as he continues to broaden his all-round contribution in Istanbul.
