Nicolo Barella wore the captain’s armband for Inter in their match against Bologna, but said the club’s true captain remains the injured Lautaro Martinez.
“Captain? Not me, it’s Lautaro,” Barella said, maintaining a modest view of his role despite leading the team on the pitch.
Barella has played for Inter since 2019.
