The Senegal international doubled Aston Villa’s lead in the 67th minute during their fifth league fixture of the season, producing an impressive finish to put his side in control.
Jackson had opened his Aston Villa account only a few days earlier, scoring in the 3-2 Champions League victory away to Club Bruges. His latest goal secured Aston Villa’s first win of the season in the English top flight.

The former Blues striker has now scored two goals in six appearances in all competitions for Aston Villa.
Aston Villa’s next Premier League fixture will come in the sixth round of matches, when they face Brentford.
