The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has denied reports that the Falconets plan to boycott training before their 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup quarter-final against Colombia.
Reports had suggested that the Nigeria players were considering refusing to train ahead of the crucial fixture.
The NFF dismissed the claims as false and said the team remained focused on its World Cup campaign.
“Reports in a section of the media that the ?? Falconets are planning to boycott training is absolute falsehood,” the federation said.
“The girls are now heading to training for their last session before tomorrow’s match against Colombia.”
Nigeria reached the last eight after a convincing 3-0 victory over England.
The Falconets will face Colombia for a place in the semi-finals at Stadion Miejski ?KS in ?odz on Sunday.
