Newcastle United conceded four goals in consecutive away Premier League matches for the first time since December 2012 after suffering a 4-1 defeat by Coventry in the final match of the sixth round.
The Magpies were beaten by the same scoreline away at Leeds in September, meaning they have now allowed four goals in back-to-back away fixtures.
The last time Newcastle United had conceded four or more goals in consecutive Premier League away matches was in December 2012. They lost 4-3 at Manchester United before being beaten 7-3 by Arsenal.
Despite the heavy defeat at Coventry, Newcastle remain 11th in the English top-flight table. They will return home in the next round to face Aston Villa.
