Nigerian centre-back Nduka Junior, who plays for Al-Najaf FC, is the subject of reported interest from SC Delhi over a possible move to the Indian Super League.
The 23-year-old defender joined Al-Najaf in January 2026 after leaving fellow Iraqi side Erbil SC. He has made 24 appearances in the Iraq Stars League, providing one assist, since moving to the country.
Junior began his senior career with Remo Stars and was part of the side that won the Nigerian championship in the 2024-25 season. He made 121 appearances in the Nigerian Professional Football League, scoring six goals and registering five assists, before departing for Erbil in August 2025.
The reported approach from SC Delhi would represent another move abroad for Junior, who has played for clubs in Nigeria and Iraq. The defender is right-footed and operates centrally, having also featured in continental competition during his time in Nigeria and Iraq.
The link with SC Delhi was reported on 14 September, but there has been no confirmation of an agreement or transfer fee. Junior’s current market value is listed at €150,000, while he remains an Al-Najaf FC player.
