Nathan Hagebeek: Dutch-Nigerian striker joins Plataria on free transfer

Published on: 18 September 2026

Dutch-Nigerian striker Nathan Hagebeek has joined Plataria from German club Sudstern Singen on a free transfer.

The 22-year-old forward completed the move on 18 September 2026 and has signed a contract with Plataria until 30 June 2027. He becomes the club’s latest attacking addition after starting the season with Sudstern Singen.

Hagebeek spent the opening part of the 2026-27 campaign at Sudstern, having joined the club from a period without a club on 13 April 2026. He did not make an appearance for Plataria in the Landespokal Sudbaden before completing his move.

At 1.97m, Hagebeek offers Plataria a sizeable presence in attack. He is comfortable using either foot and is listed as a striker, with his primary role in the attacking area.

The move continues a career that began in the Netherlands. Hagebeek joined Lisse’s youth set-up in 2018 before moving to DWS Youth, DHC Youth and EDO H. Zat. He later stepped up to Zeeburgia Under-21s in July 2022.

After leaving Zeeburgia Under-21s in July 2023, Hagebeek was without a club until joining Sudstern Singen in April 2026. His switch to Plataria represents his latest change of club and his first recorded move outside that recent spell in Germany.

Hagebeek was born in Zoetermeer and holds Netherlands and Nigeria nationality. His arrival gives Plataria a forward with experience across Dutch youth football and the German club system, although his senior competitive record recorded before the move contains no appearances or goals.

The free transfer was completed on 18 September, with Hagebeek’s Plataria contract running through June 2027.
