Mourinho sees Real Madrid potential in Bellingham and Guler movement

Real Madrid head coach Jose Mourinho believes a tactical adjustment involving Jude Bellingham and Arda Guler could prove highly beneficial to the team.

According to AS, Mourinho was impressed by the way the two players switched positions during Real Madrid’s 4-1 victory over Sevilla. Guler initially operated on the right before moving into a central role, while Bellingham moved into the space vacated by his team-mate.

The rotation unsettled Sevilla’s defenders and created a series of problems for the opposition. Mourinho is understood to have welcomed the combination, which gave Real Madrid greater movement and made it more difficult for their opponents to track the players.

Real Madrid will attempt to build on that performance when they host RB Leipzig in the Champions League on Wednesday. They then face an away match against Barcelona on Sunday.
