Morocco head coach Mohamed Wahbi will hold a news conference on Thursday, 17 September at 11:00, when he is expected to reveal his squad for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations 2027 qualifying fixtures against Gabon and Lesotho.
The press conference will take place at the Mohammed VI Sports Complex in Sale and will provide the first detailed insight into the coach’s plans for the two matches.
Wahbi is expected to explain the thinking behind his selection, including the tactical choices and broader direction adopted by the national team’s technical staff.
His comments should also clarify how the squad has been assembled and how Morocco have prepared for what are regarded as two important fixtures in their campaign.
There is already considerable interest among supporters, who are waiting to see which players feature in the latest squad and how the group will be shaped under Wahbi.
Particular attention will be paid to the established members of the team who retain their places, as well as any new players who have earned the coach’s confidence and could be given the opportunity to represent Morocco.
