Former Inter coach Andrea Stramaccioni believes Brentford and Italy defender Michael Kayode has the potential to become “one of the best right-backs in the world”.
Speaking to Il Messaggero about the newcomers to Italy’s national team, Stramaccioni highlighted Kayode’s progress since his move to Brentford from Fiorentina.
The 22-year-old has started Italy’s past two matches, underlining his growing importance to the Azzurri.
Kayode’s performances have also attracted interest from Premier League club Arsenal, who are known to be monitoring the defender.
