Manchester City head coach Enzo Maresca has described midfielder Elliott Anderson as a “very important player” for the club.
Manchester City signed the 24-year-old from Nottingham Forest for 135m euros during the summer transfer window. Anderson has since made 14 appearances in all competitions, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
