Manchester United are interested in signing Barcelona defender Eric Garcia and are prepared to offer him a salary significantly higher than his current deal at the Spanish club, according to journalist Ekrem Konur.
The English club want to persuade the 25-year-old to move to Old Trafford, despite interest from Paris Saint-Germain. Manchester United executives are reportedly keen for Garcia to choose them over the French club.
However, the chances of Manchester United completing a deal for the Spain defender are currently considered limited.
Garcia has made four appearances in La Liga this season and has not recorded a goal or assist.
Paris Saint-Germain, Inter and three Premier League clubs are also monitoring the Barcelona player.
