Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique is set for a substantial increase in his salary after agreeing a contract extension with the French club, with his new deal reportedly worth about €20m before tax per season.
The Spanish coach’s renewed agreement runs until 2030. According to Sport.es, Enrique’s annual income will rise from an estimated €12m to approximately €20m under the terms of the extension.
The reported figure represents a significant change in the 56-year-old’s remuneration and confirms the financial commitment Paris Saint-Germain have made to their manager by securing his services for a further period. The agreement keeps Enrique at the club through to 2030, extending his time in charge beyond the contract he previously held.
Paris Saint-Germain announced the renewal on 4 September. The news came on the same day that the club suffered their first defeat of the current French championship, losing at home to Monaco.
Despite that result, Enrique remains the manager of Paris Saint-Germain, a position he has held since the summer of 2023. His tenure in Paris is now set to continue until 2030, with the new salary reported by Sport.es forming part of the extended arrangement.
