Luis Enrique dedicated Paris St-Germain’s 2-0 Ligue 1 victory over Lyon to Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who is facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines with a cruciate ligament injury.
Speaking to reporters after the match, the PSG head coach said: “I dedicate the victory to Kvaratskhelia.”
PSG secured the points at home with two goals in the final 20 minutes. Senny Mayulu opened the scoring in the 72nd minute before Micky Godts added a second 12 minutes later.
The result lifted Luis Enrique’s side to the top of the French championship table, with PSG’s 17 points coming from their opening eight matches.
