Alisson Becker is likely to be playing his final season at Liverpool, with the club not currently negotiating an extension to his contract, according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano.
The Brazil goalkeeper’s existing deal is due to expire next summer. There is no option in the agreement to extend it, meaning Liverpool would have to negotiate a new contract from scratch if they decide they want to keep him.
Romano says Liverpool’s current position leaves the 34-year-old facing the possibility of leaving Anfield when his contract ends.
Juventus have previously shown an interest in Alisson Becker, and the Italian club could revive that interest if Liverpool do not reach an agreement with the goalkeeper.
Alisson has made six appearances for Liverpool in all competitions this season. He has conceded five goals and kept three clean sheets.
