Juventus remain interested in signing Liverpool central defender Giovanni Leoni, despite the Premier League club previously rejecting an approach for the player.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Turin club had explored the possibility of taking Leoni on loan, but Liverpool were unwilling to let him leave. Juventus have nevertheless maintained their interest and have not abandoned plans to pursue the defender.
Juventus sporting director Marco Ottolini and technical director Frederic Massara intend to send scouts regularly to watch Leoni once he has recovered from injury.
Leoni has been with Liverpool since the summer of 2025 and has made one appearance for the club. Before moving to England, he played for Parma and Sampdoria.
