Jobe Bellingham earns first England call-up as Cole Palmer misses out again

Thomas Tuchel has named Jobe Bellingham, Rio Ngumoha and Josh King in his England squad for the final international break of the year, while Cole Palmer has been left out and Ben White returns.

England will face Croatia at Wembley before travelling to Madrid to play Group A3 leaders Spain in two Nations League matches next week.

Tuchel’s side are third in the group after four matches, with three wins and one defeat. Their only loss came against Spain at Wembley as England continue to build momentum under the manager.

Bellingham, the younger brother of Jude Bellingham, has been rewarded with his first call-up to the senior England men’s squad after impressing Tuchel with his performances for Borussia Dortmund this season.

Liverpool forward Rio Ngumoha is also included. The 18-year-old has made a strong impression for the club under Andoni Iraola and has been given another opportunity to perform at international level.

Josh King has received his first senior call-up, while Palmer misses out once again. White has been recalled to the squad.
