Liverpool and France centre-back Jeremy Jacquet has praised his defensive partner Virgil van Dijk, saying he is “happy to play alongside” the experienced defender.
The 21-year-old joined Liverpool from Rennes last summer and has made seven appearances for the club in all competitions.
Jacquet has not scored or registered an assist in those matches. The Frenchman is under contract at Anfield until the summer of 2031.
