Inter Milan, Lazio and Atalanta target Liverpool winger Federico Chiesa

Liverpool winger Federico Chiesa could leave the club in January, with Inter Milan, Lazio and Atalanta reportedly considering offers for the Italy international.

Chiesa has yet to feature for Andoni Iraola's side in 2026/27, having played no minutes in any competition this season. His lack of involvement has revived speculation that he could return to Serie A during the January transfer window.

According to Italian outlet Calciomercato, the three clubs are interested in a possible mid-season deal. Any move could initially be structured as a loan until the end of the current campaign, followed by a permanent transfer next summer.

The 28-year-old was given an opportunity to impress Iraola during Liverpool's pre-season tour of the United States, with the winger hoping the change in management might provide a fresh start at Anfield.

However, Chiesa struggled to establish himself as a regular starter under former Liverpool head coach Arne Slot. He began only one of his 26 Premier League appearances last season, scoring two goals and supplying one assist in 318 minutes.

His position in the squad has not improved under Iraola, leaving his future at Liverpool uncertain as clubs in Italy assess whether to make a formal approach in January.
