Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane has won the prestigious Ballon d’Or, with renowned commentator Konstantin Genich reacting to the result of the vote.
Kane finished ahead of several leading players in the final standings. Kylian Mbappe was second, Lamine Yamal third, Rodri fourth and Lionel Messi fifth.
The award is the latest individual honour for Kane, who previously won the Golden Boot as the leading scorer in the previous European season. He scored 36 goals in the Bundesliga.
