Harry Kane wants two special protections in proposed Bayern Munich deal

Harry Kane has asked for two specific clauses to be included in a new contract with Bayern Munich, according to Goal, which cites journalist Fabrizio Romano.

The England striker wants to retain release terms that would allow him to return to the Premier League in the future.

Kane is also seeking a so-called “matching right” for Tottenham. If Bayern Munich accept an offer for him from another club, the London side would be given the opportunity to match it on the same terms.

Romano does not believe the requests will prevent Kane from extending his stay in Munich. Negotiations are close to completion, with the new agreement potentially running until at least 2029.
