Lazio head coach Gennaro Gattuso has revealed he considered walking away from management during the early years of his coaching career, saying: “My stomach hurt.”
Gattuso took charge of Lazio last summer, several months after Italy failed to qualify for the 2026 World Cup under his management.
After six rounds of Serie A, Lazio are third with 16 points and are closing in on another victory. They were leading Juventus 2-0 in the 80th minute.
